Position title: Youth Services Librarian
Position description: Provides services and programming for children, teens and young adults, including weekly story hours, a summer reading program, RIF book distributions, and outreach. Helps with management of children’s collection. Assists at circulation desk and performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications: Required: excellent rapport with children, teens, and young adults; wlllingness to work toward Vt. Library Certificate; college degree. Preferred: computer literacy, strong interest in children’s literature; previous library experience.
Salary and benefits: Hourly wage to be determined. Sick time & vacation time.
Available: September 2007
