Position title: Circulation Librarian
Position description: 17 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:15 - 8:15, and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-5:45 p.m. Superior interpersonal skills, computer skills, ability to work with patrons of all ages and backgrounds, including the physically and mentally handicapped. Ability to answer reference questions on a wide variety of topics using books, periodicals, the Internet, and referrals to community agencies. Knowledgeable about literature and able to advise patrons who request reading recommendations. Strong team player with good problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure, to be on one’s feet for extended periods, and to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications: Four years of college plus library related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary and benefits: $14.89
Available: After Labor Day
